Note

The West Bohemian Theatre was founded in 1961 as the first professional repertory theatre in Cheb. The theatre gained an important cachet in the Czech theatrical sphere, not only due to its sophisticated repertoire, but also thanks to the periods of new productions which belonged to the ""peak"" of Czech theatre. The theatre produces its own plays in dramatical area and for its visitors imports other genres and theatrical forms. Since 1981, the theatre has organized the biennale ""One Man Show Festival"". The theatre has a company of 15 actors, performing yearly approx. 220 performances of 15 productions. The theatre space has a capacity of 300 and the Studio D can seat up to 60.
