Performing Central Europe

Cooperation with neighbor countries of the Czech Republic (Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia) and members of the Visegrad group (Hungary Poland, Slovakia) is one of the priorities of Czech foreign and cultural policies. The reason for this attitude are deep historical, political and cultural ties between the mentioned countries and the whole Central European region bringing interesting intersections also in contemporary performing arts scene of Central Europe. Project including common research, curation, presentation and other ways of cooperation belong to the long-term strategy of the Arts and Theatre Institute.
