An interactive dance performance for children (6–12 years) based on the musical motif of the same name by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. The multimedia production combines movement and dance with video projections, original music and sound, while also playing with light and shade, silence and stillness. The artists were inspired by the diversity of the animal kingdom. They journeyed underground, into the clouds, underwater and through the grass, and also created many new and bizarre creatures. Thanks to the child audiences, who are present on the stage from beginning to end, new creatures are created every time. Plunge with us into the world of animal imagination!
The performance is connected with a movement, music and visual arts workshop with the artists. Children can try out movement and dance, learn about the animal kingdom, listen to music, create new music and sounds, and engage in artistic reflection.
