Amerikana III - The National Theatre in Prague has continued its loose series of programmes comprised of the works of American choreographers and under the title Amerikana III staged works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe and Jerome Robbins. The Broken Seal - They say that ‘talent is speed’. Someone who is genuinely talented is obsessed with creating, working, unhesitating, and unable to stop. The speed with which Lenka Vagnerová tossed one choreographed piece after another at us last year is evidence of a thunderous talent.

Opera in the Czech Republic – the Autumn/Winter Season 2012

The Czech Republic has been one opera house fewer for a year now. In January 2012 two Prague stages, the National Theatre and State Opera Prague, were officially merged, and understandably the work and operations of the new company could not be unaffected by these changes.

An international colloquium about dramaturgy called “Dramaturgy for the 21st Century” takes place on Friday, May 10th at 9:30 a.m. in the Haller Hall at the DAMU. The event is a part of the theatre festival of art schools Zlomvaz 2013.
