In the first half of 2004, Leoš Janáček will be the most performed Czech composer. Four of his operas (Kaťa Kabanová, Jenůfa, The Makropulos Affair, The Cunning Little Vixen) will be presented on 18 European and overseas stages. Bedřich Smetana follows with two of his operas (The Bartered Bride, Dalibor) on 5 stages. Antonín Dvořák´s Rusalka can be seen on 4 stages, and Bohuslav Martinů´s The Greek Passion in three theatres.

Jenůfa: Budapest, Glyndebourne Opera House, Berlin, Meinigen, Düsseldorf, Nürnberg, Huston;
Cunning Little Vixen: Saarbrücken, Düsseldorf, San Francisco;
The Makropulos Affair: Berlin, Stuttgart Düsseldorf;
The Bartered Bride: Berlin, Zürich, Stuttgart, Leeds;
Dalibor: Karlsruhe;
Rusalka: Schwerin, Leeds, Tel Aviv, New York;
The Greek Passion: Bremen, Covent Garden London, Tesaloniki.
