100 Wounded Tears

About the Production: 100 Wounded Tears was created by DOT504 Dance Company and Jozef Fruček and Linda Kapetanea (RootlessRoot Company), successful choreographers recognized in the international physical theatre scene. The Slovak actor and singer Csongor Kassai (whose film Divided We Fall was nominated for an Oscar for the Best Foreign Language Film) was also invited to participate in the project. The performance is taken further and deeper by the captivating, signature music by Michal Kaščák, the founding member of the cult Slovak underground band "Bez ladu a skladu". In a rather crude and chaotic but humorous form, the performance tells the story of seven characters searching for their ten thousand lost dreams and one worthy sense of life.

About the Company: DOT504 is a fully professional physical dance theatre company in the Czech Republic that was founded in 2006 by its artistic director Lenka Ottová. DOT504 is characterized by its high technical quality, creativity and strong personalities, not only among the performers, but especially among the creators of each project. Personalities working successfully on the international scene of physical dance theatre who can bring an inspiring change to Czech dance are invited to collaborate with the company.
